Cold

Colombian Coldness
I look up into the blackened sky
Waves of warm summer air
Cascade down my face
And disappear into the dark road behind us

The ground is rocky and crooked
Bouncing the jeep high into the air
and jolting us in and out of our seats
My eyes shine red in the reflection of the mirror

I burn the world away within this blunt
My smile is carving
My teeth
Thousand pronged

Really soon I want to love you
I really miss your soul
it could have been such a long time
such a long time ago

The jeep halts at the curve of a long winding road
Any moment now a car can come speeding down
And push us into dust
At any moment

The three of us walk to the trunk
Out he comes blindfolded
Blood stricken
from torrents of torment

"If you move ...
I say as we walk to the side of the road
He stands there trembling
... well you already know."

"... Please, I can repay you...
Tenfold!
Just let me go...
I've never been a threat to you."

Coming soon, faster than lightning
I just want to come home
I'll be there in a minute
I'm all alone

"I know that.
But what you owe me cannot be re payed with money.
Only
with your life."

In the distance and engine can be heard
churning and churning
revolutions of death
approaching

In that scope is a mans life
tumbling its way closer to climax
Pretty soon
the wheels willsqueal

Pretty soon I want to love you
I really miss your soul
I'm coming soon faster than lightning
I just want to come home

In that scope
He knew he fucked up
Quaking in his boots
Velocity coming for his soul

And it was then
In a still moment
That lights eradicated darkness
And blaring horns caused chaos

In that still moment
Your boy heard the angels
And he surged past the massive metal
Across the road into darkness

Mac 10's spat
Bullets dogged
Eyes elevated
Hearts pounded

I'll be there in a minute
I'm all alone
When I get there you'll be ready
To make the end a lovely way
Love is all that's on my mind
I won't be there before this time
